Life
An English monk, kinsman of Boniface, and the first recorded English pilgrim to the Holy Land — seven years wandering from Rome to Jerusalem, dictating his travels in old age. Boniface drafted him for the German mission, where he served as bishop of Eichstätt for over forty years.
