Where do the reading citations come from?

Through May 31, 2027 they are the citations published in the USCCB liturgical calendar. After that, Bless computes them from the US Lectionary cycle, so please confirm them with your parish. Each day’s page prints the New Testament readings in the CPDV and lists the Old Testament readings and the psalm with a link to their chapter; the app shows the text of every reading.

Where this comes from

Through May 31, 2027: citations as published in the USCCB liturgical calendar. After that: computed by Bless from the US Lectionary cycle — confirm with your parish.

The calendar is the US one as Bless ships it — seasons, colors, ranks and the saint of the day — with known data errors corrected. Bless keeps a saint for every date; on some days it is not the saint celebrated at Mass.
