Life

A Breton priest who walked from parish to parish preaching missions, rosary in hand, often opposed by Jansenist bishops and once poisoned. He founded the Company of Mary and the Daughters of Wisdom.

His True Devotion to Mary, hidden for over a century after his death, taught total consecration to Jesus through Mary and shaped saints and popes — ‘Totus tuus’ was borrowed from him.
