## Life

‘See to it that you do not despise even one of these little ones,’ the Lord said, ‘for I say to you, that their Angels in heaven continually look upon the face of my Father.’ From those words the Church has always held that each of the faithful is given an angel as guardian and shepherd toward life.

The feast, kept since the seventeenth century, honors these unseen companions — and the humbling truth that heaven attends to every single soul.
