## Life

The three angels Scripture names. Michael — ‘Who is like God?’ — captain of the heavenly host, who casts the dragon down; Gabriel — ‘the strength of God’ — who stood before Daniel, Zechariah, and the Virgin of Nazareth with the greatest news ever announced; Raphael — ‘God heals’ — who walked the road with young Tobias and healed his father’s eyes.

Defender, messenger, healer: the Church asks their help against evil, for the hearing of the word, and for safe journeys.
